Happy Strays Rescue, established in 2004 by Jan Magnuson, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned cats, as well as orphaned kittens, in the San Gabriel Valley community. With a commitment to ensuring all rescues are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and receive necessary medical attention, the organization strives to find loving permanent homes for these animals.
Over the past two decades, Happy Strays Rescue has successfully facilitated more than 1,500 adoptions, hosting weekly adoption events to connect potential pet owners with their future companions. The organization dreams of a day when there will be no more homeless pets in Los Angeles, inviting the community to participate through adoption, volunteering, and fostering opportunities.
