History

Alicia graduated top of her class from the SJCC School of Cosmetology in 2002. She went on to assist the owner of City Savvy salon in Campbell for about a year where she not only learned the business behind the chair but furthered her speed and craft. From there she moved her business to Los Gatos California where she has worked as an independent stylist since 2003 in some of the top salons in town; Rootz, Los Gatos Beauty Bar, Endz, and Studio Latitude (formerly known as Endz salon.) She now proudly works in her own studio suite at the Sola Salon Studios Rose Garden Location in the heart of San Jose.

Specialties

Alicia's specializes in creating custom looks through color, cut and extension work. Her passion for education and staying current in her industry has earned her some of the following certifications and specialities; Great Lengths Certified, Hotheads Certified, Brazilian Blowout Certified, Bumble and Bumble cutting Certified in New York, Balayage Essentials and Advanced technique certifications through The Business of Balayage. Balayage and Braiding Basics and Advanced certifications through Balayage and Braids. She has learned some techniques taught through the 901 academy in LA and has also learned from some of the top educators in her industry such as Beth Minardi, Martin Parsons, Jay Wesley Olson, and Jenny Strebe to name a few. She is trained in and uses color by Kevin Murphy, Redken, Pravanna, and Pulp Riot and has advanced training in multiple product lines such as Kerastase, Bumble and Bumble, Kevin Murphy, Unite, Paul Mitchell, to name a few.
