Established in 1985, Sacramento Habitat for Humanity is a builder of homes, serving the Sacramento County. Based in Sacramento, Calif., the organization specializes in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System while undertaking construction projects, including remodeling services. It is one of almost over 1500 affiliates serving the United States. The organization provides almost all the tools required for work on the construction site to the volunteers. Some of the tools include work gloves, hard hats, safety glasses, water bottle and bag lunch, to name a few. Sacramento Habitat for Humanity has partnership with AmeriCorps, which is a national service organization.

My son and I went into Habitat for Humanity Restore in Sacramento on April 19th to find a sofa and loveseat - my friend works at the Habitat in Temecula and he told me to check this location out....

I love the ReStore! It has everything i need for my projects. Even smaller items like lite bulbs are pennies on the dollar~
