Gumm's Optical is located on the corner of Main and Hickory Street in Historic Red Bluff. The business was established in February of 1977 in the Old Cowtown Plaza (now Frontier Village Shopping Center) on Antelope Boulevard. Gumm's Optical moved to their present location, on Main Street , in February of 1988. John Gumm, owner and Optician, opened a full service optical shop, which includes fitting, adjusting eyeglasses, grinding, contact lenses and all repairs.

At Gumm's Optical Shoppe we strive to fit and fabricate eyeglasses to the highest possible standards. This means using top quality frames and lenses. An experienced, qualified optician will perform your fitting and adjusting. Although we do not offer eye examinations, we do provide assistance in selecting new Frames and Lenses and Contact lenses, if needed. We offer free eyeglass adjustments, and professional cleaning. And, we have a great selection of sunglasses; Maui Jim, Oakley, Bolle, Spy and many more!
