Guerra Nut Shelling Company, a third generation family-owned and operated business, is one of the oldest walnut processing companies in the industry. Serving since 1947, it packages products under three labels; Cal-Best, Hillcrest and Pacific Coast Nut Company. The company processes over 10,000 tons of walnuts a year and the majority of its walnuts come from California s Central Valley counties of Yuba, Sutter, San Joaquin and Stanislaus. Guerra Nut Shelling Company offers different types of items, which include light walnut pieces, light walnut syrupers pieces, amber walnut pills, light walnut baker pieces, light walnut granules, light amber walnut granules and walnut meal. The company operates from 60,000 square feet of warehouse and processing space and has an additional 18,000 square feet of refrigerated storage.
