History

Guerette Motors originally started in 2006 as Top Notch Performance (TNP) in Stanton, CA by Shawn Guerette. Shawn is not your typical mechanic but is more of a mechanical savant. He built his first motorized shooter at age 10 out of a lawn mower engine and by the age of 12 was running his own lawn mower repair business. Shawn continued to thrive and by the age of 18 was one of the top mechanics at Elmore Toyota and later Honda World in Westminster Ca. Shawn opened the doors to TNP in 2006 and over the next 11 years developed a solid and loyal customer base. With zero marketing, the word spread quick that Shawn is extremely honest, meticulous, caring, and a perfectionist. Guerette Motors was born in 2017 when Shawn and his good friend Christopher Harris (seasoned CFO with years of experience running businesses) joined forces to create a different kind of car repair shop and dealership. We pride ourselves on quality, craftsmanship, trust, and long-term relationships.
