Groveside Bistro
History
Realizing that a tasty and affordable approach to contemporary food and drink was what the community craved, chef/owner Judi Green opened Groveside Bistro in the summer of 2020 ( in the middle of the pandemic) to bring a new culinary option to downtown Clayton. Livermore born, Chef Judi attended the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu cooking program in Paris and ran a highly successful catering firm in Silicon Valley before moving to Clayton and opening her lifelong dream cafe/bistro.

The realization of a lifelong dream, we are locally owned and operated with a menu of affordable artisan specials that change weekly and daily to incorporate local, seasonally fresh and sustainable ingredients. Gluten free and vegan options are available as well and all our sandwiches, salads, etc are made to order for dine-in or takeout.
