Gridley Public Works Department

The Public Works Department is governed by the City of Gridley in California. The department is responsible for the development and maintenance of infrastructure. It designs and constructs public streets, including sidewalks, pavement markings, and street and traffic signs. The Public Works Department is also responsible for the construction and maintenance of the water system, including its production, treatment, storage and distribution. The department handles matters related to the collection, pumping and treatment of sewage. Additionally, the Public Works Department provides engineering review and inspection services for public improvements in replacement, new development and public capital projects. It replaces regulatory, warning and informational signs on road, as well as clears debris and obstructions.
