History
After graduating massage school I began work at a busy chiropractic and acupuncture clinic in San Francisco's Financial District in the summer of 2002. Front Street Chiropractic was very rewarding until two years later when a major shift in insurance laws reduced my work substantially. Additionally I have worked part-time at Club One since 2003 helping people training for sporting events, recover from surgery and injuries as well as promote general relaxation. After leaving Front Street Chiropractic I began work as an independent contractor for the San Francisco Marriott, Argent, Ritz Carlton and Western Saint Francis. In the summer of 2006 I decided to venture out on my own and begin a private practice. I was fortunate enough to be featured in the August/September 2006 issue of 'Different Strokes' - a massage therapist trade journal owned by the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. My California Massage Therapy Council certification number is #1001.
Specialties
Each massage should be unique based upon what the client's body 'asks' to receive. A mixture of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Orthopedic and Carnio-Sacral massage techniques are used depending on someone's health concerns as well as their goals for each session. I take particular interest in neck and shoulder strain/injury having suffered from such problems myself.
