Founded in 1850, Greene and Hemly is a family-owned corporation that grows, packs and markets pears and apples grown in California's fertile delta region. The company s packing and cold store divisions handle fruit from July through January. The operation packs its own production in addition to selected outside growers. Greene and Hemly supplies products to Campbell Soup. The company also handles carrots that are processed for soups and jalapeno peppers for sauce of the Pace Picante brand. It additionally provides gift packs that are shipped throughout the United Sates.
