Green World Fabrics

History

Green World Fabrics was born as a concept in 2013. Founder, Terra Khemiri, realized that thousands of pounds of these beautiful, expensive fabrics from upholsters, drapery makers and clothiers were being thrown away in the landfill. Her first thought was how many people would delight in having these fabrics at affordable prices and what a waste this really was. It became her mission to bring these to the public, stopping such useless waste. The second part seemed obvious. Because this was about helping the environment and individuals it seemed only right that it should benefit another cause. Terra is a Holistic Health Practitioner dedicated to health and nutrition. She believes children's entire health and future can be changed by the food they are given. So it made a perfect circle to take what profits came from cleaning the world for our future generations and using it to make a healthier present for them now.

Specialties

Green World Fabrics is an online company only. Green World fabrics recycles unused fabrics and donates it's proceeds to creating a lunch program for children in the Vallejo area. We sell bulk fabrics, create quilt patterns, purses, bags, pillows and children's toys.
