The GRAMMY Museum is an interactive celebration of the power of music. Located in a vibrant space in downtown Los Angeles, the museum offers four floors of cutting-edge exhibits, interactive experiences and films to provide visitors with a one-of-a-kind experience – engaging, educational, celebratory, and inspirational. The museum attracts visitors of all ages from all parts of the world who can learn about the GRAMMY Awards and check out music artifacts from artists ranging from Michael Jackson, and Tupac Shakur to Taylor Swift.

Must-see, must-do at the GRAMMY Museum
Crossroads: the large and colorful Crossroads table invites users to explore nearly 160 genres of music. Songwriters Hall of Fame Gallery: features audio and video highlights from the annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards & Induction dinners, and an information kiosk of SHOF inductees and honorees. Enduring Tradition: Four Enduring Traditions pods, lined with unique artifacts and oversize imagery, beckon you to explore the history of some of America's most significant musical traditions: pop, folk, sacred, classical, blues, and jazz. Inside, vintage footage and interviews with a broad spectrum of musical artists capture the essence of the music.

Best and worst times to go
Any day is great to visit the GRAMMY Museum, but visitors have said Mondays may be less crowded.

Admission to The GRAMMY Museum
Tickets can be purchased at the museum box office or at AXS.com, and range from $11 to $15, with special discounts given to groups of 10 or more persons. Admission after 6 p.m. is under $10.

Parking and public transportation to The GRAMMY Museum
There are 20,000 parking spots within a 10-minute walk of the museum. Convenient on-site parking is also available at the corner of Olympic Blvd. and Francisco Street. There are Metro Red and Blue Line stops available within walking distance. From the Blue Line, exit Pico-Chick Hearn Station, and from the Red Line exit 7th Street Metro Center.

Insider tip for visitors to The GRAMMY Museum
Not to be overlooked is the Culture Shock exhibit. Located on the back wall of the fourth floor, the audiovisual timeline reveals the past half-century in music. As you explore Culture Shock, the frequently heated intersection of music and the broader culture is revealed, telling some of society's most compelling stories, and spurring critical thinking.
