Graham Keegan

History

Graham Keegan began growing and dyeing with plants in 2009. Taking advantage of the long growing seasons in Los Angeles, and the huge variety of local flora, he began experimenting and honing dye techniques. With an emphasis on expanding the bounds of possibility for design with natural color, Graham began studying color chemistry and translating historical design processes to contemporary materials. Graham now creates patterns and custom dye techniques for independent designers and large companies alike. He continues to explore new mediums and processes while teaching what he has learned through workshops hosted at his storefront in Silver Lake and around the country.
