Gora Aquatic Center, located in Galt, Calif., is part of the City of Galt s Parks and Recreation Department. The center has several restrooms, swimming pool, recreation pool with water slides, volleyball court and a picnic area with barbecue outside the aquatic facility. It also has several pool managers, lifeguards and instructors. City of Galt s Parks & Recreation Department provides a variety of leisure activities for citizens that include youth and adult sports. Additionally, the department also offers maintenance and scheduling of parks, pools and all the city s facilities, recreational programs, park information and facility rentals. The center also provides various swimming classes that focus on water and aquatic skills and stroke development.

It's such a cute place to take the kids on a hot day! I really appreciated the fact that there were 2-3 lifeguards at all times!

We always enjoy being here!! The facility is clean and well maintained. In addition, the staff are professional and pleasant. They have a snack store but are ok with people bringing in their own...

Kids love it here very clean pools. We feel the kids are very safe with the lifeguards they alternate them often so they seem alert all the time.
