Golden Valley Health Centers

Golden Valley Health Center, located in Merced, Calif., is a private nonprofit organization that is a part of a federally qualified health center system serving central California. Established more than 30 years ago, it is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and serves an ethnically diverse population, including migrant and seasonal farm workers, Southeast Asian refugees and the homeless population. Its services include family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics and behavioral health and it also offers dental facilities, a laboratory and a pharmacy. Golden Valley Health Center has a physician and a dentist responsible for clinical care and supported by a team consisting of a site administrator, head nurse and a front office coordinator to manage the practice.
