History

The owner Jesus Garcia opened Golden Shark Construction in 2004. Prior to that he was the lead installer for American Bath. In time, Golden Shark grew to 25 full time employees and is working with over 100 property management groups all over the Bay Area

With 25 full time employees, Golden Shark Construction can meet construction job time line. We manufacture our own line of fiberglass, acrylic and cultured marble shower and bath wall surrounds. It takes us 1 day to complete a bathtub and surround demo and new installation because we dedicate a man to demo, another man to size and cut the surrounds and still another man to set the plumbing and pipes. Another crew will haul away the trash. Kitchen replacement is 3-4 days, instead of 7 days. Again, this is due to the manpower Golden Shark maintains. Also, when multiple men are focused on a single trade, work is faster and there are less mistakes. When 1 or 2 guys have to do everything, it is tiring and burdensome which leads to mistakes. Concrete - we replace broken/cracked sidewalks, cut tree roots that shift the concrete. Driveways, patios, parking lots - we maintain concrete pathways and sidewalks for over 100 property management companies in the Bay Area. Decks - rotted boards, beams, posts, wall caps, stair boards, rail caps, etc. Douglas fir, pressure treated pine boards, we regularly replace dry rot decks, stairs, patios over parking spaces for all of our property managers. Plumbing - whether single family rental property or multi-family property, we handle all facets of plumbing from copper repipe to replacement of sewer laterals for all of our property managers.
