History

Golden Heart Senior Care - Pasadena is owned by Malcolm Boyd and Linda Relyea, both long-time residents of the Pasadena area. Our mission is to provide exceptional care for seniors, or others in need of assistance, in the comfort of their own home, as well as to provide peace of mind to family members who are trying to provide support. We have experience dealing with caregivers first hand and were often frustrated with the experience. We set out to build an agency that would provide the exceptional level of service that we wanted for our loved ones but never found. We provide customized attention and needs evaluation, with a comprehensive caregiver selection process, and a high level of care supervision to ensure that our service meets and exceeds your high standards. We accomplish this by providing a high degree of hands-on supervision, appropriate training, and having the tools in place to provide for the right flow of information.

We are locally owned and operated in-home care service, committed to helping our clients live comfortably in their own homes regardless of their care needs. Our caregivers are Golden Heart employees (NOT contractors), and are all Certified Nurse Assistants who are thoroughly screened. We are licensed, insured and bonded for your peace of mind. We can provide you or your loved one with a range of personalized senior care services and companionship, whether the need is for a little assistance a few times a week, or full time care for a short or extended period. Our services include personal care and hygiene assistance (including bathing and incontinence care), mobility assistance, meal preparation and feeding assistance, medication reminders, driving to and accompanying client to appointments, shopping or errands, household chores and organization, pet care, or companionship including walks and other activities.
