Noranda has more than 50 years of experience in the recycling industry and is among the world's largest recyclers of electronic components and a major recycler of secondary copper, nickel, gold, silver, platinum, palladium and lead. Approximately 15 percent, 150,000 tons, of the raw material feed for our copper smelter operations is from recyclable materials. Xstrata Recycling can recycle many types of products and materials including personal computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, monitors, as well as circuit boards, electronic components boards, connectors, telco scrap and cell phones.
