Chad, stop lying and making excuses. Your own staff didn't even know the correct time the event started. So you call it a success when 40 people arrive an hour and a half early and get inside...

Hard to find deserted place. Not inviting looking. Could be a beautiful fun place to have a drink. Answering machine with rude message and no response. Next!
