History

The business got started in Long Beach in 1989. I had previously worked in a private clinic in Newport Beach. Connections with the International Dyslexia Association led to speaking engagements and teacher training session all over the US and Canada.

Specialties

Lessons are created to meet the individual needs of each student. Simultaneous, multi-sensory instruction assists in meeting each student's learning style. Concrete materials are used to demonstrate math concepts and give meaning to the numbers on a page. Language skills are instilled using similar techniques. Students enjoy a hands-on approach to learning. Understanding and, not rote memorization, is the goal.
