Gil Magpantay, MD is an allergist/immunologist with Sutter??_s Medical Foundation??_s allergy department in Davis. Dr. Magpantay received his medical degree at the University of Hawaii-John A. Burns School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in Allergy/Immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Prior to joining Sutter Medical Foundation, Dr. Magpantay served 10 years in the US Army as an active duty physician. He had numerous positions to include Battalion Flight Surgeon and Chief of Allergy/Immunology service at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Magpantay??_s professional interest include; allergy immunotherapy, allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma, food/drug allergies, chronic urticaria, and atopic dermatitis. In his spare time Dr. Magpantay tries to keep active with his wife and children. He loves to travel, enjoys numerous water activities, and is involved in community service. He is also fluent in Tagalog/Filipino. Dr. Magpantay is accepting new patients across all age groups with allergy/immunology conditions.
