To insure we are in line with all food safety certifications, we rely on Scientific Certification Systems, Inc ( SCS ) to audit our facility and fields. SCS is a reputable third-party certification and assessment body headquartered in Emeryville, California. SCS delivers professional services to provide third-party environmental, sustainability and food quality certification, auditing, testing and standards development.Bravante Produce also has GS1 capability. With our own personal barcodes and identification numbers, retailers can identify and track our fruit. The GS1 system provides for the use of unambiguous, globally unique numbers to identify goods, assets, and locations worldwide.Our Food Safety Manager, sees that Bravante Produce's food safety practices are followed day in and day out at our packing facility. With our expertise in both citrus and table grapes and our grower's being licensed PCA's, we have commitment to producing high quality fruit. Food Safety and Food Security at Bravante Produce is an integral part of our business strategy.
