Dr. Nicholas Reese knew from an early age he wanted to be an oncologist. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara on a Regents Scholarship and majored in biology. Upon graduation, he was awarded the singular Colville-Dearborn Memorial Award given to the graduating senior with the most outstanding achievement in the sciences. Dr. Reese attended medical school at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. As a medical student he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and was also awarded with the American College of Physicians Student Internist Award for Outstanding Performance in Internal Medicine.Dr. Reese completed his post-graduate training in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and the David Geffen School of Medicine. As a clinical fellow, he worked onnumerous clinical protocols for prostate cancer.
