My goal is to build a complete pianist. I encourage slow tempo practice in order to pay attention to details ranging from note accuracy, counting, dynamics, technique (finger numbers, hand position, balance). I teach various piano literature from a range of historical periods including Baroque, Classical, Classical, Romantic/Impressionist, Contemporary, and Jazz. Whether it's Russian Classical methods or pop, rock, and top 40 music I can adapt a curriculum to fit the individual needs of the student. I can also incorporate preparation for the Music Teacher's Association of California's (MTAC) Certificate of Merit Prprogram. I have been a member of the MTAC since 2003.
