History

Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Furgison was a senior trial attorney for a Los Angeles boutique firm concentrating in the defense of securities broker-dealers, registered representatives, insurance companies, insurance agents and other fiduciaries. In that position, Mr. Furgison successfully defended his clients at trial and arbitration hearings. He also settled many cases on terms very favorable to his clients. Mr. Furgison has argued in the California Court of Appeal and obtained a publish decision on issues crucial to the securities industry. Mr. Furgison is a former legal extern for the Honorable Samuel L. Bufford, U.S. Central District Bankruptcy Court. After spending the first 6 years of his career representing brokerage firms and financial advisers, Mr. Furgison decided to open his own firm to represent investors exclusively.
