What sushi bar runs out of rice especially at 7 PM on a Friday night?! I feel like they didn't wanna seat me because I'm a gaijin (foreigner). Restaurant was well open and folks were eating....

Was looking forward to trying an authentic sushi restaurant. Both Google and Yelp stated that they close at 9pm. We walked in around 7:40 and they refused to seat us, saying they close at 8pm :(...
