Freedom Burrito

History

Freedom Burrito, the idea came to me after working and running the kitchen of a local Mexican restaurant for a few years. Why the name Freedom Burrito? A couple months after 9/11/2001 we were opened for the first time to the people, I wanted to commemorate and show my appreciation for this country and the opportunity. Freedom also stands for the liberty of customer customization, Something not a lot of places did. Why I think Freedom Burrito stands out vs other taquerias/ Mexican restaurants? Well to begin with we still use the traditional method of homemade corn tortillas and our quality. This is a family owned business, originally it was my sister, brother, father and myself who started Freedom Burrito in 2002. My children (11) and (12) at the time, would come and work after school. They loved coming to work, Always involved and the customers loved them. They are now at the front of the company with hopes to soon start a new chapter and a second Freedom Burrito.
