Fred M Baik, MD

Dr. Kaniksha Desai is a board-certified endocrinologist and clinical associate professor at Stanford University. She completed her endocrinology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, with an emphasis on the management of patients with thyroid cancer. Dr. Desai’s clinical practice focuses on the management of patients with thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer. She also maintains board certification in neck ultrasonography.

Dr. Yemane is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with the LGBTQ+ Health Program and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She offers full-spectrum gynecologic care and specializes in caring for people who identify as gender and sexual minorities. She prepares personalized, comprehensive care plans, delivered with compassion. Dr. Yemanes research interests include expanding access to safe obstetric and gynecologic care for LGBTQ+ populations. One of her noteworthy studies examined perceptions and patterns of cervical cancer among women in the patient population.

Dr. Riaz is dedicated to advancing breast cancer treatment through an innovative clinical trial program that focuses on cutting-edge therapeutics and biomarkers. Dr. Riaz is studying circulating tumor (ct)DNA-minimal residual disease (MRD) as a pivotal biomarker for early-stage breast cancer. She aims to enhance its use in surveillance and early detection while guiding personalized treatment strategies through novel clinical trials. Furthermore, she is committed to improving immunotherapy efficacy by modifying the tumor microenvironment. Her research involves developing early-phase trials that integrate novel therapeutic approaches, combining immunotherapy and radiotherapy.
