Fountain Valley Public Works

The Public Works Department is governed by the City of Fountain Valley in California. The department oversees various engineering, maintenance and transportation projects. It designs and analyzes traffic capacities and movements throughout the city, as well as constructs various facilities, including streetlights, pavement markers and traffic signals. The Public Works Department operates the Engineering Division, which provides design, construction management and development services, as well as encroachment permits. It manages water meters, gutters, storm drains and parks. The department also offers street sweeping, trash disposal, recycling and hazardous waste handling services. In addition, the Public Works Department provides stormwater pollution prevention programs.
