Royal Truck fulfills work truck and affiliated equipment needs through its 5,000 square-foot design studio and 145,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Royal pushes this space even further with an additional 40,0000 square fee at its satellite locations. Its engineering, production and design teams have enabled Royal Truck Body to become a leading service body company in the western United States. In 1999 and 2000, Royal Truck purchased River City Truck Equipment in northern California, now Royal River City, and opened new facilities in San Diego, California and Phoenix, Ariz. Founded in 1971 by Dudley De Zonia, the company has been a major innovator in service body design.
