Forest Lake Christian School is an independent, nonprofit, evangelical Christian ministry, cooperating with all local evangelical churches, but not affiliated with any church or denomination. It is located in Auburn, Calif., and was founded in 1966. The total enrollment is more than 750 students, and offers classes from kindergarten through 12. The school includes classrooms and office space, a library, a computer lab, a science lab, a multipurpose room, a gymnasium, and locker rooms. The physical education and athletic programs utilize two athletic fields, a 400-meter track, and tennis courts. Forest Lake Christian School does not discriminate against any person based upon color, race, national and ethnic origin, and provides an education that encourages spiritual growth and character formation, as well as academic attainment.
