History
In 1998, The Executive Director began a tutoring program for children in the Foster Care Program who were not receiving the education that they deserved. A Supervisor from the California Education Department found out about the program and began instructing her teachers to recommend their students to the center in 2003. Ford Learning Academy was established in 2004 providing tutoring services to not only Foster Care Youth but to any child or student struggling in the classroom.
