Foothill Technology High School

Located in Ventura, Calif., Foothill Technology High School offers educational programs to more than 900 students in grades nine through 12. The school provides career and academic guidance, administrative support and technical training to students through a curriculum that includes mathematics, English, social studies, science, foreign language and agricultural studies. In addition, it provides technical education through computers and online learning; adult mentoring; internship; and job shadowing. Its BioScience Academy is a three-year elective program designed to provide career guidance and training to students in the areas of health science and biotechnology. The school also provides various extracurricular programs, such as clubs, dances, publications and community service activities. Foothill Technology High School works in partnership with Ventura Technology Development Center and University of California.
