For more than 17 years, the Flypoet Spoken Word & Music Showcase has been presenting the finest spoken word talent that the world has to offer. During that span, it has come to be widely regarded as one of the top spoken word venues in the world.
Specialties
A monthly, professionally produced showcase featuring world class performance poets and spoken word artists, performance art and live music from some of the best Soul/R&B/Neo-Soul/Folk/acoustic acts that LA has to offer. It takes place on the first Saturday of every month with two shows a night: 6pm and 8:30pm.
