History
Floating Lotus Massage & Bodywork was created by Raquel Elmore to provide compassionate therapeutic massage, energy work, and yoga for the enhancement of health and well-being. Well-being cannot be measured on a scale, but when something is out of balance in our bodies, we feel it. Being out of balance affects everything we do, from our work to our relationships. Restoring this balance is key. Therapeutic massage is an essential way to get back on track, heal, and restore--physically and mentally. When we are in balance, our lives improve from the inside out.
Specialties
My practice aims to guide clients towards optimum health by helping them listen to their body. Once I hone in on a client's specific needs, I use a combination of methods to focus on problem areas. My main objectives are to help my clients meet their specific goals and to provide them with applicable tools that they can use in-between visits. Each session is customized to the patient's individual needs. With my clients, I work on everything from promoting range of motion, to enhancing athletic performance, to decreasing anxiety, stress, and depression.
