Terrible SERVICE... the owner/manager is very rude. I waited to order for a literal 10 minutes and wasn't even acknowledged before I walked out in frustration. Mind you they were not very busy....

Wasn't for us. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't Bates in Gardena lol. We've been trying a bunch of different fried fish places and so far no one has beat Bates. This location had friendly service....

The ambiance okay, staff welcoming and very friendly. Service superb and the food is amazingly delicious. There was a slight mix up on my order, but I didn't complain.
