First United Methodist Church

We are one of the oldest United Methodist Churches in California, people first assembled for worship as Methodists in Lompoc in 1874 ; soon after the city was laid out, 133 years later we are still singing and praising God every day of the week. We are pleased this year to be the cultural home of many of the premier musical groups in the area: The Lompoc Valley Master Chorale, the Lompoc Pops Orchestra, Lompoc Community Concert Series, as well as our own First Methodist Organ Concerts. When you think of music in Lompoc, you think of First Methodist FIRST. First UMC, is also a church that is committed to making a difference in the world around us. We serve and support numerous missions both locally and around the world.
