Starting as Chico Paramedic Rescue and later becoming First Responder Emergency Medical Services, they expanded their operations to include Paradise, Oroville, and the Sacramento area. After three decades of service, the owners, Byron and Louwane Parsons, have retired, and First Responder Ambulance Service will now pass the torch to Enloe Health, confident in their ability to continue the mission of delivering exceptional patient care.
