First Place for Youth

Founded in 1988, First Place for Youth is a nonprofit organization located in Oakland, Calif. It offers counseling, youth community, and housing and academic enrichment programs. The organization additionally provides programs on self-esteem, self-reliance and skills development. First Place for Youth also offers housing, training, case management, mental health and advocacy services.
