With over 40 years of experience, Dalton Grant began his understanding of wood floors at 8 years old. The North Carolina native first learned the craft of wood flooring under his older brother, Leon Grant, who began Grant and Green Floor Service based in Maryland. By age 22, Dalton had worked for Rode Bros. of California, and soon after he would create Dalton, Inc, based in Los Angeles. With his knowledge and know-how derived from old craftsmen on both the east and west coasts, he quickly created a name for himself in the wood flooring industry. What was once Dalton, Inc is now Hardwood Factory, Inc, a Southern California-based wood floor company that prides itself in custom work and repeat customers. With Dalton as president, our floors exude artistic quality and fine craftsmanship. They are the standard in a well planned and executed job, from start to finish. His hard work and knowledge of the craft has resulted in successful jobs with some of the biggest names in the industry.
