HistoryThe Escrow Merchants is an all Woman owned, independent escrow company established in 1983. We operate under the laws and direction of the State of California, Dept. of Corporations and therefore are held to a higher accountability and standard than title, banking and/or broker owned escrow. In addition, because we are independent and rely on referral business, service to our clients is our primary purpose. The Escrow Merchants has over 29 years of experience in this market. We are located in the North Orange County area, however we service the whole State of California. We extensively work on REO, Refinance, Purchase and Short Sale transactions. We also have experience in commercial and private party lendingSpecialtiesWe have specialized in REO transaction for the past 22 years and are on several approved closer lists, including, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, First American National Default Title Services and LPS Default. We are also a registered vendor with Equator, handle transactions for several asset management companies nationwide and currently do business with REO Real Estate Brokers throughout the State of California
