Fire Department of Brea

The Brea Fire Services Department provides a wide range of fire, rescue and emergency medical services. The department s activities include commercial fire code inspections, open burning regulation enforcement, fire cause determination and arson investigation and juvenile fire setter counseling. The Brea Fire Services Department also provides a variety of engineering activities, such as preconstruction plan review, fire protection system review, consumer product data collection and fire code development. Its fire prevention division includes a fire marshal and inspector, public education specialists, and officer and administrative assistants. The department also provides training and emergency medical programs and various educational programs, including school programs, public presentations, media events and safety fairs.
