Farm Lot 59

History

Farm Lot 59 & Long Beach Local is an agriculture-based official 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies on donations, grant funding, and the sale of our farm products to cover our operational costs. Our mission is to incubate and inspire the culture of urban farming in our community through education, food accessibility, and by being a model of sustainable agriculture practices. Floral sales support of Farm Lot Gives program by donating 100% of our edible produce to Food Hub locations throughout Long Beach. We serve Long Beach, California, and the surrounding area since 2010.

Specialties

Farmstand 59 is an on-site farmstand that specializes in rare and unique flowers that we grow here on our farm. We sell market bouquets, individual varieties of flowers fresh and dried flowers, wreaths, floral art, local pottery, and other seasonal gifts. Our offerings change every week as the seasons change. We also offer a floral subscription, workshops, classes, and volunteer opportunities.
