Family Service of Santa Monica

The Family Service of Santa Monica is a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides social and support services to more than 1,300 youths and families. It offers divorce prevention and parenting education, as well as individual, couple, family and group counseling services. The organization provides clinical assistance to people who suffer from issues related to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, marital relationships, career changes, life transitions, illnesses and disabilities. It offers a state-recognized program that focuses on case management, child care status monitoring, physical and emotional health assessment, and prenatal and postpartum medical care services for pregnant and parenting teens. The Family Service of Santa Monica also provides a trauma recovery program that features counseling services for individuals and families who have experienced military combat, natural disasters, and physical and sexual abuse.
