The Santa Clara Family Justice Center in San Jose, CA, is a state-of-the-art facility that consolidates family court, juvenile dependency, and drug court services into a single location. This center provides a secure and efficient space for families and individuals to access a variety of legal and support services.
Collaborating with the Superior Court of California and Santa Clara County, the Family Justice Center replaced six leased facilities, offering a self-help center, family court services, child waiting area, and space for justice partners. The project was funded through a combination of SB 1407 funds, court funds, and proceeds from the sale of a vacated courthouse.
