Fair Oaks Elementary School

Established in 1953, Fair Oaks Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s facilities include a playground, cafeteria, library, computer lab and classrooms. Its core curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Fair Oaks Elementary School specializes in the English Language Learners program, as well as provides special education programs for students with mental and physical disabilities. The school employs an academic counselor, librarian, paraprofessional, psychologist, social worker, nurse and resource specialist. Its staff also includes speech, language and hearing specialists. Located in Pleasant Hill, Calif., Fair Oaks Elementary School is governed by the Mount Diablo Unified School District.
