When Steve became the fabric buyer for the House of Fabrics, one of the world's largest former fabric store chains, Steve established relationships with garment companies and mills worldwide. After House of Fabrics was acquired by Joann Stores, Steve and his wife Nelly Wisner opened a progressive wholesale operation in downtown L.A in the heart of the textile Industry. O ver the years Steve was aided in this endeavor by his father, Harry Wisner who passed away in September of 2008. Harry touched so many lives in so many ways. He built the Independent fabric store division of Fabric Merchants, and customers throughout the U.S loved working with him. He was the consummate salesman.
