Bucky Gillett is a licensed California Real Estate Broker who began his commercial/industrial real estate career in 1984. Upon graduation from the University of Redlands, he worked over the next seven years at Bishop Hawk of Southern California and at Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate, specializing in the leasing and sales of industrial properties. In 1992 Bucky moved to Transtar Commercial Property Management as Director of Leasing and Assistant Property Manager. The Transtar portfolio consisted of over two million square feet of industrial/ commercial properties with unit sizes ranging from 1, 000 up to 100, 000 square feet. Some notable clients included Transtar Realty Advisors, Equitable Real Estate, Disney, and Boeing. The properties were located throughout Southern California, including the cities of Anaheim, Cerritos, City of Industry, Santa Ana and Tustin. Bucky Gillett founded Gillett Commercial Real Estate in 1997 with the desire to develop a Full Service Property Management and Brokerage company that could service all types of commercial properties and their owners. Brokerage clients have included Haymur California Inc., Towne Advertisers Mailing Service Inc., Premio Computer Inc Gillett Commercial co-brokered the land acquisition, development, sales and leasing of five industrial buildings consisting of over 600, 000 square feet in the City of Industry in 1997-1999. Current management accounts include Rockwell Farms Inc., Lau Associates, ABI Properties, and Gale Partners. The entire portfolio consists of over 300, 000 sq. ft. and seventy tenants including thirteen at the Gale Business Center located in the City of Industry, California.
