A graduate of the University of Southern California, I became involved in trauma and play therapy while at UCLA's Department of Pediatrics. Since transitioning to private practice in 2003 I continue to work with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder as an EMDR Certified Therapist, I also serve adults, children and adolescents with Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Eating Disorders, and ADD/ADHD, as well as individuals and families with grief and loss, stage of life/adjustment, couples/marital, behavioral, attachment, domestic violence and abuse issues. I utilize research-based treatments to ensure clients achieve optimal wellbeing. I view clients' experiences from their perspective and facilitate safe exploration and discovery of new understandings that help achieve their goals. My emotional and cognitive approach also includes EMDR, Mindfulness, spirituality, etc., to promote personal growth and healthy relationships.
