Esters Wine Shop & Bar

Esters is a chic wine bar with some really great food, a massive wine collection, thoughtful cocktails and a beautifully curated shop in the heart of downtown Santa Monica. We’re your neighborhood clubhouse with fun programming and a relaxing place to drink, eat and socialize. Our expert team is totally nuts about planet-friendly wines from small producers, and our shelves are stocked with hundreds of bottles from around the world. A 2023 James Beard Semifinalist for “Outstanding Bar,” we also feature a variety of seasonal cocktails and mocktails. Inspired by our favorite bistros and wine bars in Spain and France, our “little kitchen that could” whips up an all-day menu of farmers' market-driven dishes, snacks and cheeses that pair with wine. Happy hour is available all day Sunday - Monday and 4-6 pm Tuesday -Saturday. If you love what you’re drinking and eating, our shop is full of wines, gourmet provisions and gift boxes, so that you can share a bit of Esters with the ones you love.
